IPL treatments transform your skin making it silky and smooth.  This technology beats the old painful methods used in depilation.  The treatment can be used in extensive areas such as the back, thighs, arms, legs and face and, best of all is that it is a treatment that is safe, fast, gentle and effective for progressive depilation.

What are the advantages of IPL depilation?

Large areas can be treated at the same time.
It acts with equal effectiveness on light skins and dark skins.
There is less chance of producing pigment changes.
Less pain and discomfort compared to other depilation techniques.

How many treatments will be necessary?

The number of treatments necessary to obtain optimum benefits in the long-term depends on the area to be treated, the density of the hair and the growth cycle of same.
Hair grows in cycles regulated by multiple factors of influence.  Age, race, weight, hormones, diet, medication and metabolism, amongst others, all play an important part in the location of the hair, its thickness and resistance.

IPL delays the growth capacity of the follicles and the growth cycle at the same time.  Sometimes, some hair follicles can start to grow after the treatment, which is why various sessions may be needed (from 4 to 8) to achieve optimum results.

What is the difference between IPL, electrolysis and laser?

depilacion lazer foto Electrolysis or electrical depilation is a much slower process.  With electrolysis a needle is inserted in each of the hair follicles, one at a time.  Once the needle has been inserted, an electrical charge burns the follicle to delay its growth.
IPL only uses intense pulsed light energy.  It is practically painless and, unlike depilatory lasers, can act effectively on pigmented skin without producing colour changes.
IPL depilation can safely and effectively eliminate hair of all colours: blond, red, brown, black and even grey.
With the IPL process we can treat hair from highly sensitive areas such as lips or breasts.
The treatment may last anything from a few minutes to an hour depending on the area to be treated.
IPL treatments are painless and effective.
Monitoring of the treatment.
After the treatment you can return to your normal professional and family life immediately.  It may be advisable to use a cosmetic specifically formulated for the care of hairless skin.
We always recommend the use of solar filters with Total Hydrating Screen on the areas exposed to the sun.
